END OF THE YEAR / by Jacob Presson

2014 was a good time.

In May, I began rehearsals for a production of OUR TOWN set in Brooklyn’s historic Green-wood Cemetery. The show ran for three weeks in June and played to sold-out houses nearly every night. Following that, I journeyed to Magdalen College, in Oxford, UK, to take part in The British American Drama Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford program.

In the fall, I returned to NYC for my senior year at Marymount Manhattan College. That November, I appeared in our Main Stage production of O Pioneers! A cast of 33 and a musical to boot! And finally, in December, my second play, THE PARTY PLAY, (co-written with PJ Adzima and Allison Scott) had its first open-house staged reading at Marymount.

The future is bright. I have a website now!
