Summer into Fall into Winter by Jacob Presson

Since my last post in May, I've gotten to partake in three reading's and the world premiere production Fuck Marry Kill at The New Ohio Theatre from October 27-November 15th. The play was written by my older brother, James Presson, directed by Sash Bischoff and produced by the Less Than Rent Theatre family. I've been attached to the piece from the very beginning, and getting to share it with sold out crowds every night was incredible. A Jacobean revenge comedy set in suburban Connecticut, I played a warmhearted and fun-loving pothead that turns for the vengeful alongside the talents of Lilly Englert, Ismenia Mendes, Alex Breaux and many more gifted actors.

I can't wait to see where this contemporary epic goes.

Let's work together <3

Springtime!!! by Jacob Presson

So far, it's been a pretty fun year at the office.

In March, I became an official company member of Less Than Rent Theatre, which is described as an, "Ultra-caffeinated and endlessly mischievous theatre mob, best known for spinning down-and-dirty remixes of classic plays." I couldn't be happier to officially be a part of the team.

In April, I headed out to LA to take Lesly Kahn's life-altering comedy intensive alongside 13 other comedically gifted actors. I miss them all already. <3

As for the month of May, I have already been part of two workshops with some of my closest friends and colleagues. On May 7th, I got to be in a staged reading of Ian Campbell's play, Ratcatcher or Welcome to Paradise! at The Cell Theatre with The Pantry Reading Lab. Located way up high on the Appalachian trail, I played a drugged up clown who is described in the character breakdown to be, "like an orangutang." So that was fun.

On May 22nd & 23rd, I got to be in a developmental presentation of a new play entitled, F#$k Marry Kill. The piece was written by James Presson, directed by Sash Bischoff, and presented at Playwrights Horizon by Less Than Rent Theatre. Described as a Jacobean revenge comedy set in suburban Connecticut, I played a warmhearted and fun-loving pothead alongside the talents of Samantha Hill, Jeremy Morse, Haley Bond and others.

And now it's back to the hustle. You should totally hit me up. I'd love to work with you.

I would love to see you there! It is being directed by one of the theatre's directing fellows, Jamie Watkins, and is an extremely exciting step forward in the play's development.

If you would like to RSVP you can email and let me know you would like to come and I will put your name on "the list."

I hope to see you there!

Peace and love.
